Ha! I just grab my Bible and meet them outside for an impromptu Bible study - they last about five minutes then never return.

Although someone else shows up eventually, and the process continues....

Last time I got pinned down by a pair of them was soon after the Cold War ended and they still had fear of nuclear weapons on their script. I told them that without a large number of nukes that the US and USSR would probably had a major war unleashing chemical and especially biological weapons that would have killed even more. They soon left and I don't know if it was because I was so far off their script or they just didn't want to catch my obvious insanity.

My wife and I moved into our current house twenty years ago in the boonies. Our only neighbor is her Mom who lives about one hundred yards from us. We moved in on a Friday and went to bed at midnight exhausted knowing a full day and week ahead of us unpacking and settling in.

My wife got up at 7:00am and had eaten breakfast and showered and was already cleaning and scrubbing. I was upstairs painting a closet. She was mopping our foyer and had a bucket of dirty mop water she needed to toss and opened the screen door, took a step and let fly toward the front yard missing two Jehovah’s Witness by a few inches as they jumped aside. They looked at each other startled each other a second or two and they started their pitch. She listened long enough to figure out who they were and then interrupted them and asked, did you see that sign at the bottom of this road? Yes they replied. What did it say? No trespassing they said. She said you do understand what that means and that you are now in violation of trespassing laws of this state? Thank you have a good day and they started towards her Moms and she hollered at them and said she put the No Trespassing sign up, don’t bother her, get off our ridge and property and don’t come back. They walked down the road to their vehicle and never returned.

As for armed guardsman I hope they are not serious because that is going to get nasty real quick for the civilians and the guard, there will be blood...
