The NSA is doing all the things that McCarthy and Nunes voted for it to do. When I tried to stop the FISA 702 reauthorization, they said I was endangering American lives. GOP leaders urged Trump to denounce my efforts and sign the FISA bill, which he did. Now they feign outrage.

What about NASA doing things Nunes and McCarthy didn't vote for?
For example spying or unmasking Tucker.
Amash was actually a decent Rep with Libertarian leanings before he was infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Or at least he campaigned/acted the part. Then he repeatedly stabbed his constituents in the back. Now he's a scummy little weasel, but he's still right on this. But where was Amash when FISA was weaponized against Trump, Republicans and Private Citizens? Voting to impeach, that's where.

I never hated him for telling the truth about what our government has become post 9/11.
I have said for several years that Nunes is full of sh!t. He spent two years running around on Fox News complaining about FISA abuses, then turned around as the House Intelligence Committee chair and pushed to get the FISA authorization renewed.
No one knows or cares who Amash is.

And he’s right that they shouldn’t have voted in favor of the NSA doing those things.
But, that said, focusing on this issue now is like criticizing the firemen who are trying to save your house from a major wildfire because they’ve been cheating on their wives.
