“ Clearly the Injection is NOT a traditional Vaccine”
Clearly, it is a new type of vaccine. There are different types. New approaches have developed many times, since we have started using vaccines.
It is kind of like saying Teslas are not traditional cars, therefore they are not cars, and should not be considered cars - they can’t be expected to drive, or get you places.
Clearly, they do. Clearly, the mRNA vaccines induce antibodies against COVID-19, and provide powerful protection against symptomatic disease, hospitalization or death from COVID-19. That is what vaccines do.

Not really, I did not say it was not a vaccine. I said it was not a TRADITIONAL vaccine.
Electric Car or Hybrid car, Everyone knows and understands that those are something different from the automobiles of the past, and that they have not replaced the traditional automobile. Generally they are not simply called cars without the descriptor.
I can recall in the 1960s being told by a car dealer, that the Chrysler product wasn’t a real car — it was a compact with decent gas mileage at the time, but he didn’t approve of it-felt it was an inferior product.
So people do vary in their methods of showing their disapproval. Now, clearly it was a car, but I didn’t go into hysterical accusations and call him a liar, or tell him he was nuts.
And arguing over such a detail would have simply been a diversion from the real issues - such as safety, reliability, and other specifics of importance.
From the Pfizer/BioNTech press release regarding BioNTech:
“Based on its deep expertise in mRNA vaccine development and in-house manufacturing capabilities, BioNTech and its collaborators are developing multiple mRNA vaccine candidates for a range of infectious diseases alongside its diverse oncology pipeline”.
NOTE: The Company is honest enough to use the term “mRNA vaccine”. People who shorten that to simply vaccine, are simply mudding the waters and being totally unclear, and ultimately misleading whether by design or simple laziness in the use of the language.
And as I said it’s really irrelevant to me what it’s called as long as people are fully informed and know that it is different from past vaccines, and what the true risks, benefits, and unknowns really are.
