Of course they want police, but it’s a National Police Force they want, answerable only to them.
This is just the “teardown” Phase.
The same political football has been kicked around periodically since the 1940s. This generation is no more capable of solving it than the old ones were— maybe less so because the politics has become more malignant.
Sadly, black Americans don’t need less police, they clearly need MORE police, and I think most agree with me.
Time for folks to look past this “defund the cops” mantra and pay attention to a much larger issue that has been there for quite some time.
The number of young adults in their early 20s, the target audience to fill the ranks of police and fire departments, DO NOT WANT THE JOB.
Police departments have been having hiring issues for years. It’s gone into overdrive with wall the BS that happened last year and radical & incompetent mayors, like Mayor Kiki in Atlanta, and all the others in cities like Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, NYC, etc etc etc.

Now, toss in the defund movement, cops being indicted for doing their jobs, a small-yet very loud segment of society calling for their elimination, their local government reps talking sh*t about them and that makes for a bad recipe.
The REAL issue is lack of morality, preferably Christian faith-based morality. The commies have been busy getting that out of the schools for decades. We see why now.
Even though Christian-based morals are best, can’t school districts implement morality training that is not directly tied to faith? Why can’t we teach fundamentals of morality like don’t murder, do not injure others, treat others like you want to be treated, don’t steal from others, respect other people even if they are different?
But we can’t have that because the Commies WANT the violence, murder, chaos, turmoil and controversy. They have clearly shown us that in the last two years more than ever before. It is way past time we start calling them out on that.
It’s the black neighborhoods that suffer with this heavy crime. Those “black” leaders who call for less cops almost all live in safe white neighborhoods and couldnt care less about black on black crime.
