Tewkunzi Green was released from prison 22 years early after murdering Montral Fleming in Peoria in 2007 when Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) signed a “commutation of sentencing order.” Fleming’s family says they were not notified of her prison release through the state, but instead through Facebook. Other families have had similar experiences, and Illinois Senate Republicans are asking why.

Illinois Senate Republicans are asking why.

Are there any people in Illinois, detained in solitary confinement, after being charged with Trespassing by the FBI for Jan 6th?

Folks being charged with violent crimes being released but citizens arrested for something that happened at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, are in solitary confinement.

Where is the Republican Party?

Oh wait, Sen Lindsey Graham said that lethal force should have been used against them. It was.

“I just can’t believe that we could lose the Capitol like that,” Mr. Graham said during a break in the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump. “I got mad. These police officers had every right to use deadly force, they should have used it. The people in charge of securing the Capitol left the country.”

...I am sorry.... I truly am...but I am at a point in my life (mid-70s...) where I could give a rat’s a** about how many of these Amish folks kill each other....they are released from prison...fine; just stay the hell away from my neighborhood or you might find your Amish a** suffering from a severe, if not fatal dose, of lead poisoning, or at least FMJ poisoning.... There...! I’ve said it....!!!!

“Illinois Murderers Released Early, Victim’s Families Not Notified”

Well, of course not, otherwise they would get an unfair head start.

“Individuals in South Carolina should understand that if you employ deadly force to defend yourself or your property, even if you believe you are justified in doing so, you will still likely be arrested. The Stand Your Ground law is complicated and does not function as a “Get Out of Jail Free” card; as a former criminal prosecutor, I would carefully examine each and every case looking for a reason to file criminal charges. Though your actions may fall within the provisions of South Carolina’s Stand Your Ground law, more than likely you’ll be arrested and then would have to retain a criminal attorney to help determine if your actions fall within South Carolina’s Stand Your Ground law.”

Not really sure what that has to do with Murderer’s in Illinois getting out of prison early, folks arrested after entering the Capitol on 06January and being held in solitary confinement being denied access to family and lawyers, and Lindsey Graham saying that the Capitol Police should have sued lethal force against US citizens, but thanks for sharing.

As for what you posted, it seems like some timid RINO/Republican-types drafted a law to appease the masses, made it sound great, but leaves a lot of wiggle room for a prosecutor to do what they want. Typical.
