Remember, POTUS Trump couldn’t get a measly $30 Billion to get the Wall Built when he had a GOP House and Senate.
Now they talk about Trillions of Dollars like it’s pocket change.
And the Appeasement Branch of the GOP destroyed in detail.
“These GOP failures ultimately led to the rise of Donald Trump, whom these GOP moderates loathe. The same pattern may be repeating itself again now.”
Stupid Republicans never learn.
But ‘we’ do keep voting them back in. Hopefully ‘we’ have learned our lesson and will quit the nose-holding voting. It’ll only take one election to change those running if ‘we’ would stick to principles.
The money quote: “They were content to play the role of honorable losers in the same manner as failed presidential candidates Mitt Romney and John McCain.”
Yep, the Washington Generals to the Dems’ Harlem Globetrotters.
We MUST replace EVERY Assistant Democrat.
The strategy that led to this is incoherent. Agree with the supposedly good stuff as a gesture of cooperation when the rats are going to strongarm everything else they want through right after? I suppose it was easier than trying to educate the nation about inflation and try to rally the people against Biden’s ruinous financial plans.
If I were a GOP Senator who agreed to the infra bill, as soon as Biden sprung the trap, I would promptly determine to vote against that which I agreed too. I wouldn’t care about being called names or having my house tagged by beta male savages.
Yes, the Republican moderate clowns are worthless pieces of excrement.
2025
Dear Elected Democrat:
I worked as a public servant for ungrateful members of the public for decades. Whenever elections were held, I voted the straight Democratic ticket.
Your wild spending has made my once immense monthly pension payouts nearly worthless. The stores have very little, claimed the Chinese are no longer accepting dollars as payment for goods. The Europeans are no longer accepting dollars either, making my nearly annual trips to Europe no longer possible.
Retired Public Employee & Former Democrat
Lucy: This time, I won't pull the football away, Charlie Brown.
Republicans quickly accepted his assurances. On June 27, Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, who is not running for re-election next year and was one of the key GOP negotiators on this deal, told ABC’s “This Week,” “I am glad they [the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the Democrats’ omnibus spending legislation] have been delinked and we can move forward with a bipartisan bill.”
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, who is deeply unpopular with the GOP base but still a man to be reckoned with in a 50-50 Senate, told CNN’s “State of the Union” on the matter, “I do trust the president.”
Charlie Brown: Hey, this time, I'm really going to kick the football. Here I go!
PING!
“The Congress shall have power to...establish post-offices and post-roads”
They think that when the SHTF, they'll be permitted to live inside compounds and be safe from the chaos in the streets.
The GOP is a simply stupid party.
NO Republican should sign on to any Democrat wish- list expenditure bill. Whatever they are labeled, they are most likely the exact opposite in reality. If a private citizen can see through this, why can’t a supposedly-educated elected Republican?
can’t get re-elected without spreading the loot..
...if this coup and insurrection of 11/03 is NOT resolved somehow basically We the People are certifying to the world that the executive office of the US Presidency is available to anyone willing to strong arm the system and use the loot to pay off any subsequent challenges.
Exactly what happened to the Roman Republic 2000 years ago
