pResident Joe Biden sends his greetings to all as we celebrate the 4th of July on the 5th of July.
Press Secretary Jan Pissawki says celebrating July 4th on the 5th is entirely permissible since the Indians, whom the Pilgrims defeated at the Battle of Plymouth Rock, had never heard of a calendar. She added that Plymouth Rock was where the Cleveland Indians were first defeated.
Mr. Biden baked a turkey this year to commemorate a feast, held July 4th, 1620 on Nantucket Island due to rising sea levels on the mainland. The Plymouth Rock landing site of the Jamestown settlers was inundated, according to Climate Czar, John Kerry.
Dr. Jill Biden is contributing her special Texas Chili, prepared from a recipe made popular at the Alamo.
CNN’s Jim Acosta yelled, “What does Chili have to do with the the traditional 4th of July turkey?”
Pissawki said she would “circle back” to Acosta on that one.
Mr. Biden has ordered the 4th of July feast to be setup on the White House Lawn.
Guests of Honor will be the staff of the Chinese Embassy and those attending will eat Turkey, Dressing, Chili and other Traditional delicacies with Chop Sticks.
Acosta asked, “What happened to Hot Dogs and Apple Pie?”
Mr. Biden replied, “Jim, you’ve got your dates mixed up. Oscar Meyer and Johnny Appleseed didn’t come along until September 11th, 2001.”
