We went live with AFP President Tim Phillips and special guest Senator Rand Paul to discuss how the PRO Act would harm the American economy and make it harder for people to get back to work.

Here's a brief synopsis:

Rand says increasing the corporate tax rate would be a huge mistake.

He said the cut to 21% under President Trump was a big success and cites the 400 new jobs created in his hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky by Corvette.

Rand talks about the massive science funding bill which just passed and 17 GOPers in the U.S. Senate supported (Rand calls it a massive boondoggle).

Rand says less than 10% of the infrastructure bill is actually for what people traditionally think of as infrastructure i.e roads, bridges and transportation. Says its full of pork (day-care, healthcare spending, etc)

Rand talks about right to work states and Dem attempts to nullify it (PRO Act).

Rand on filibuster ("New legislation either puts us further in debt or takes away our freedoms").
