Meghan McCain is departing ABC's "The View" after four tumultuous years of doing what could arguably be the toughest punditry job around. Being the token conservative on the show has never been an easy task, and the condescending, disrespectful verbal abuse McCain endured, particularly from co-host Joy Behar, makes one wonder why she put up with it for so long.

Regardless of one's opinion of "The View" - which often could be as insufferable as it was unwatchable with its pious screeds, especially from Behar and co-host Sunny Hostin - the show generated daily headlines and major buzz on social media. And most of them involved confrontations between Behar and McCain.

Candace would be an excellent choice but fortunately she wouldn’t lower her standards to join the bearded hags. Besides, the View intentionally chooses wishy washy “conservative” women who aren’t very articulate. Sorry, but Elizabeth Hasselbeck wasn’t that great either.
If Candice Owens did sign up...at least two of the View members (Goldberg is one) would quit in a hundred days.

Meghan McCain is no conservative. The view would allow Candace Owens about30 seconds at the most. They do not tolerate thinkers.
