I've noticed that whenever the subject of Nazi Germany is raised, someone always says something like this: "It's unbelievable that Adolf Hitler was able to manipulate and control the entire German population. It just seems impossible."
Yet that's exactly what he did. Yes, there were some dissenters and political foes, but they were subdued and quashed as the boundless power of the Nazi regime shut down all dissent with the use of the brown-shirted Sturmabteilung or SA, the Schutzstaffel or SS, and the dreaded Gestapo or Geheime Staatspolizei.
Perhaps a bit of context is in order here. I spent three years in Germany with the Army Security Agency involved in SIGINT (intelligence derived from electronic signals and systems used by foreign targets). I am fluent in German, my wife is German, I have studied German history, and I keep up with current events in the country.
Like a lot of Americans, I always assumed that America was safe from the kind of tyranny the German people experienced under the heavy hand of the Third Reich. There is no way our federal, state, and local governments could restrain and control the American people the way Hitler and his Nazis dominated the German population, I thought.
Yet, for the past eighteen months, that's exactly what has happened in America.
A nation that always prided itself on its independence and individuality was suddenly locked down. Travel was restricted, schools and businesses were shuttered, we were commanded to wear face masks, voting laws were altered, isolation and quarantines were mandated, and speech was censored by social and mainstream media if Big Tech oligarchs judged what was said or written as "misinformation."

It is not just in the last 18 months. It took decades to corrupt the education system. It also took decades to corrupt most of government. The Military held out, but now they are corrupted by communism too.

Economically speaking the USA is at the “Wiemar” stage, politically speaking we are a left wing fascist nation. Classically so. The world sees it’ true even if we don’t.

Agreed. We are somewhere between 1926 and 1932 Weimar Germany. Once Harris assumes the presidency, I suspect we’ll see the von Hindenburg-style power vacuum commence.

Germany has tended to be a very orderly sort of country. Prussian discipline was well known. They follow rules. The Weimar period was a little decadent, but when the Nazis came along with a lot of rules and regulations, I don’t think it’s surprising that the German people did as they were told.
Russia has always been a very autocratic country. Serfs and Peasants had no power and the government officials (Czarist aristocrats for centuries) ran things as they saw fit. When the Bolsheviks came along, tremendous changes were put into place, but the basic pattern of little people being rigidly controlled by unfeeling government agents continued.
The United States of America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are a hardy and independent people who cherish our individual rights, and prefer that the government keep its distance. Therefore it is tremendously shameful that we have surrendered so much to an illegitimate tyrannical government.People now live in fear of their government, fear of their neighbors, and fear of their local school systems. We behave like sheep and follow arbitrary dictats from little bureaucrats and busybodies.
I understand the Nazis well enough.
I understand the Bolsheviks well enough.
I am appalled at America in 2021.
The use of Nazi tactics by the regime is an amazing thing to watch. We all saw the similarities between the Sturmabteilung street thugs and the regime’s own storm troopers (Antifa, BLM) deployed last summer. The false flag “attack” on the Capitol is the exact move made by the Nazis when they burned the Reichstag Building. The regime has used the “attack” as successfully as Hitler did in consolidating his power and eliminating the opposition. Six months into totalitarian rule, the Biden Regime has been more successful than Hitler in destroying all opposition. Students of history know what’s coming from DC. Fascists just don’t simply stop, they must be beaten. Our only hope to stop the fascists, the Uniparty (R) Quislings.
It takes living in a foreign country for a while to realize how very true that is. The American rebellion over face masks is unique in the world, and something to be proud of. The rebellious nature of a real American is beyond cultural: it's genetic. America is a nation founded by rebels. 23andMe should detect it and highlight its presence in their results report.

Adolf Hitler didn't manipulate innocent victims. There were Germans then and now who desperately beg to be kicked around and think so little of themselves that they'd help whoever would do it.
Today, as in Weimar Germany, there are individuals guilty of supporting and promoting Leftism. There are individual prosecutors who have refused to charge the street thugs for their crimes against the people. There individuals on the boards of korporations who actively violate citizens' rights to promote the Leftist agenda. There are individuals on the corporate boards and in front of the cameras at ABCCBSFOXCNNNBCNPRNYTWAPO who publish propaganda in support of the Leftist agenda.
All these individuals are known. It's not some bad Hitler-man who manipulated innocent people. These are criminals at work.
