It’s very patriotic for the foundation to have done. I agree.

However, I wonder if government operations should be funded by particular persons or entities. Zuckerberg’s funding of certain election operations in some states may have tipped electoral votes to Biden.

I am wondering the same thing.

Can Zuckerberg or Jack Dorsey hire national guards if they have a governor that’s friendly to them?

Good point...

Elections likely treated differently because influence outcome of a race...

From what I have read, I believe Zuckerberg foundations skirted the regs by appearing as nonpartisan when in fact they were operating as partisan....

Seems there are many charities that donate to military and specific units in one way or other...

Lots of info at military.com So looks like it is possible and I am guessing Noem and the charity had their lawyers look into it.
