THAT will be a millionaires' tab.
It's store bought so you're not allowed to do ANY work on it yourself ... you need an annual A&P inspection, insurance, obviously a near daily or weekly NEED for the thing.

I’m certain a nicely outfitted, used, twin engine Baron + cab and rental car fees would be lots cheaper. And you would cruise at 200+kn and be chauffeured about.

They should have made it boat capable too.

You’d need a high-paying gig like his to afford it and regular engagements most likely.
The golden gun and bullets might have to be scaled down a bit to something more economical. At least for a while.

The hull is a lifting body. It should have strakes down the sides as a dam against air migration laterally off the lifting body. It would give greater efficiency.

And it’ll be ready in TWO YEARS? (You know, like every OTHER flying car story in history).
To: knarf
The weight consideration was addressed with the lift body construction.
The body is in part, the airfoilThis is exactly one of those compromises mentioned upthread. A modern sportscar is designed so that wind forces it down onto the road. I would imagine this car would get squirrelly on the road at 80mph.
