A woman facing prison for causing one of the worst crashes in the history of the Tour de France has been arrested after four days on the run.
The suspect – who has not been identified – was arrested today and is now in custody in the small Brittany town of Landerneau. She lives in the Finistere department of Brittany, in which Landerneau is situated, according to an investigating source.
‘She did not have far to travel to get to the race, and clearly knew how to escape after causing so much damage,’ he said.
‘Numerous witnesses were interviewed, and camera footage was also inspected in order to track the suspect down.
‘Now that she has been caught, she has to be questioned at length, to find out exactly what her motives were.’
Prosecutors launched a criminal inquiry following the collapse of an entire peloton on Saturday, when 21 cyclists including Britain’s Chris Froome were seriously hurt.

... Actually, I see a bunch of arses there, when you include all the people around her that didn’t even try to warn her to move.
Opi and Omi can come visit her in prison.
“Oh, the humanity....”
Will she receive a harder prosecution and punishment than a person who went into the Capitol building on 6 January 2021?

20 years on Devils Island.

Nice angle of view. Watch as the rider just left of the initial crashing bike “leans into” the adjacent cyclist. Then, he continues on. The sign and the leaning cyclist meant “DOOM” for Mr. Spindly.
Size does count....

Why are fans allowed to be that close?
“Down Goes Frazier....Down Goes Frazier”
The leaner contributed to the crash. The lean was a way to narrow the field of competitors. Wonder who he was and if the race staff is looking at what appears to be a deliberate foul.
Yes! I thought I saw that too, the other guy actually leaning in towards them, as if to make the accident happen. And he had plenty of time to move over to the the space there was there to his left. But aren't these guys on the same team?, assuming that's how it works. Their outfits are very similar.
You must be a Democrat. She is responsible for her actions.
How do you put a barrier on two sides for a 125 mile race?

Are the race teams similar to RINO’s? That could explain the “assist”.
He was an inch away from his teammaate who was riding alongside. Look at the pics again. Totally her fault.

They are on the same team. I doubt he tried to make the accident happen, because the rider who fell could have taken him down too. He’s lucky the falling rider didn’t catch his back wheel and cause him to fall.
I doubt he even saw the woman. He looks focused only on the road ahead.
