It was obviously either climate change or Hunter Duncan’s wife, there is simply no other possible reason!

The worst part isn’t some jacka$$ is saying this, no, the worst part is the thousands of jacka$$es who BELIEVE it!

"role of climate change"

This is dumb. It was clearly caused by systemic racism. Blaming it on the Sun is just more racism.

Do the Democrats escaping from Leftist hellhole states know that FL real estate is right in the path of the rising sea?

It had nothing to do with the leaking pool.

Structural Engineers who seem to know what they are talking about tell me that this was a result of poor design (inadequate drainage) magnified by sloppy installation. The result was a maintenance nightmare that would have required constant vigilance and effort. Which was not provided.

Everybody involved wanted to just look the other way.

There were documented signs for years in advance that the building was deteriorating and becoming unsafe. Repairs were going to be very expensive, essentially wiping out the equity of most of the resident-owners. The H.O.A. board members were not capable of dealing with the situation. A number of them perished because of that.

I heard one researcher say several years ago that the vast increase in population in Florida is draining the underground aquifers that fill the limestone chambers beneath the ground. As a result, the land is sinking because the water below ground that supported everything is being withdrawn. The sea isn’t rising—it is the land that is sinking. Too many people demanding too much water.

Makes perfect sense to me. He had statistics and studies to prove what he was saying and he was an expert on the topic.
