No, they’re accusing the GOP of having “tampered” with the machines during the audit. Or at least that’s the public reason…possibly the audit is turning up problems with the machines, and they know they’re not going to be able to get away with reusing them and want to get in before the publicity. Or possibly they just want a fresh batch of machines to fiddle with for the next election.

I think the actual narrative is these machines are now tainted BECAUSE of the audit and new ones will need to be purchased thanks to the AZ GOP
