While appearing on “The Dan Patrick” Show, Pippen was asked about recent comments he made to GQ, in which he said Jackson made a “racial move” by not giving him the last-second shot in a 1994 playoff game against the Knicks.

Toni Kukoc was given - and made - the shot. Pippen petulantly sat on the bench. To play this card 27 years after the fact is pathetic.

Phil Jackson won eleven NBA championships. Whatever he did, he did it well enough to win. If he favored white players, or Asian players, or whatever, he won. His decisions WON games.

He even won when he coached the Albany Poltroons of the CBA.

Pippen was advised even by the Bulls owner to not sign that long-term deal, but he was worried about getting hurt and wanted the security. It cost him millions in the long run. But he is not exactly a pauper either.

I was fascinated to learn how poorly Pippen was paid during their hay day. He signed a long term deal as a newbie so he was like the 8th guy on the payroll when Da Bulls got rolling.
