I don’t know how rare girl racers are. Some few years ago Hot Rod magazine did a retrospective “Women in Racing” and there were quite a few of the even way back in the 60s. I guess they weren’t winning a lot of races but they were out there feeding their need for speed.

Well, she was the only I recall racing at these events. She also drove a '53 Chevy gasser. And the other that I mentioned above, now that I look at it again, appears to be a '56 Chevy, not '55.
