How Much Land Does ‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond’s Husband Own?
Showbiz Cheat Sheet ^ | 1/28/2019 | Julia Mullaney

Ree Drummond, also known as the star of Food Network’s The Pioneer Woman, lives on a ranch in the middle of Oklahoma. (snip) But how much land does her husband, Ladd Drummond, and his family actually own?

The story of how Drummond met her husband sounds similar to the way most people in their 20s meet a new love: Over some drinks at a bar. (snip) The two talked for a while, but they didn’t end up meeting again for another four months, when he finally asked her on a date. She said yes, and they hit it off. At the time, she had been planning to move to Chicago.(snip)

Today, the couple lives on a huge ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. According to Two Peas and Their Pod blog, who visited Drummond to cook with her on the ranch, Drummond lives in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing in sight. This is because Drummond’s husband’s family actually owns more land than you can imagine.

In 2013, Modern Farmer reported on the country’s biggest landowners. While the Drummond family landed at No. 17 on the list, they still own more land than anyone probably thought. The family owns a total of 433,000 acres. To put that in perspective, that’s about 30 times’ the size of Manhattan. It’s unclear how many cattle and horses the family owns, but the family business, Drummond Land & Cattle Company, was founded more than 100 years ago by Ladd’s ancestors. Ree Drummond frequently shows the cattle and horses on her show.

That irks me. I wish we could make more things here but the product ingredients used would probably be from China anyway.

I own land in Osage county myself. 2 burial plots in a cemetery where
I shall eventually reside for a long while.

"Regardless of where they’re made, all the products are designed in USA"

"Designed in USA" is a scam to hide Chinese country of origin. Frequently, this phrase has the "USA" bigger than the other words, and there is a big US Flag image.

Great Non-Fiction (not a novel). Learned a LOT of things from this book that I didn’t know before. And it just scratched the surface of what went on there before the FBI stepped in.

Ree Drummond’s Husband Ladd and Nephew Caleb crash

Ladd, 52, and Caleb, 21, were each driving a Himmat Fire Truck on County Road N3660. Caleb was driving southbound, while Ladd was driving northbound. The trucks hit one another “head-on” due to “high winds on a gravel road” that caused visibility to be decreased, according to the report.

Neither Ladd or Caleb were wearing a seatbelt, the report said, and Caleb “was ejected approximately 70 feet from point of rest.”

We watch her cooking show on Saturday mornings sometimes. I particularly like her Southwest cooking style, tacos, etc.

I used to watch her show, bought some jars by her brand, the lids rusted quickly, inside wher ethe food touches. I started noticing all the china made products and read she gets govt money and I started realizing the show is filmed - of course they will only show the good shots or certain goofiness, but they are not simple farmers, or as she said accidental - it was all choices and enricing themselves some on tax payer dollars - I decided I don’t need to enrich her further.

I’ve visited the restaurant in Pawhuska. They have revitalized a tiny town and provided a number of decent jobs for the people who live there. I was pretty impressed. Talked to her husband while waiting outside and he seemed like a straight shooter.

if i decide to travel around the country again maybe I will put it on my list to go through. I just didn’t like how the prodcut was cheaply made and in watching her show (like 7 or more years ago) it always started with her saying she was an accidental country girl or some thing like that along with fact the show is taped (which means multiple takes of things) so it’s all staged - not real.

I don’t watch tv except maybe a few hours per year now - too much fakery - I think it’s why usa fell so easily to the decptions of this last 2 years, people used to fake, accepting fake as truth.

Is your life so dull you pick apart people you don’t know. I don’t give a rat’s behind what your opinion of me is. You don’t matter in the big picture of my life. I hope you can cheer up and have a happy next few years without that chip on your shoulder. Live long and prosper my friend.

I am amazed at the grasping need for MORE some people have. These people seem to have that drive to have more. It is not a trait to be admired, anymore than the trait to sit on yer bum and expect gifts to get you through. These two types of people are not to be admired. It is like Gates, Soros or Gotrocks, when do you enjoy life? My guess is they get a thrill from the power trip.

I don’t care how much money a person has, but that much land is finite unlike money. There is just so much land, and so many that cannot have any. The next life will be much better, a place where all can call their own I assume.

It depends on how much cattle they have. Cattle need a lot of roaming/grazing room. And perhaps they send their cattle to market to make tasty meat dinners. Or if dairy cows, milk, icecream, cottage cheese etc. I for one am happy that someone does it as I cannot raise cattle on my lawn.
Not trying to be snarky but I certainly have more respect for cowboys/cattle ranchers than asshats like Ga tes,$or o$ etc who just buy up land and dont use it for food production.

Definitely respect the work ethic it takes. I don’t have it in me, and cannot understand the need to have so much more than is needed to live a nice life.

We wouldn’t need to outsource the raising of food to the extent we do, if a larger number of people just had a half acre, or better yet 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 acres. My grandpa had a large chunk until the Great Depression and then a bad year. Somebody ended up with his homestead as well as many others. All that was a planned event just like Sars-Cov2. Every time the central banks play a tune for musical chairs, those connected to “The Party” end up in a cushy seat.

We as Americans are being gradually forced into crackerbox homes in crackerbox neighborhoods, then into cities with stack and pack apts with no windows.

My grandchildren will likely only see such beauty and expanse on a big screen. What are we allowing to be done to ourselves?

My children have an impossible task to own a home. $400,000 for a 3 bed 2 bath home on 1/8 an acre this year. $1,500 rent for a 3 bedroom 1 bath 800 sq ft place now. My youngest has about $300K locked up in a retirement fund, but cannot use it for housing. It seems rich, except that is the collection of 20 years of work, and the sale of a family home. In 30 years she won’t need a house, an apartment will fit my daughter and son in law nicely as they molder in retirement. My grand children, will have to be top 10% in earnings to have a piece of a home. At least somewhere people have land, not Americans of the lower class....which is one of the two that will exist within 10 years in America.

That is funny! We own the same in Tulsa county. Okla is a great place to be retired permanently. Beautiful and well kept Calvary cemetery with lots of relatives and friends gone before us. RIP to all.
