I have never heard of The Gilcrease Institute so I got pretty excited when I read about it’s art holdings. THEN I read about how it’s going to close on July 5th so they can demolish it and rebuild it. Looks like I will have somewhere to visit in 3 or 4 years though.
Perhaps they will loan some of their works to Crystal Bridges in Bentonville.
I have seen several paintings from Gilcrease at Crystal Bridges. Well worth going to see in Bentonville AR.
