I once had bronchitis, when I was in my 20s. Couldn’t get rid of it . Well, it would have helped if I had stopped smoking hashish for a while, but noooooo.... I was in another country, where you could get just about any drug from the pharmacy without a prescription. A friend once even got morphine there for a toothache, but I digress.
I’m a lot like LJ (but not as severe) in that I respond weirdly to ordinary medications that don’t bother most people. When the bronchitis wouldn’t go away, I knew I probably needed an antibiotic, but those had always made me throw up, so what was the use? Then I discovered that they actually sold many drugs in injectible and suppository form, as well as oral. So I bought the injectable one (somehow more agreeable to me than the suppository! lol) and gave myself a shot in the rump, and that cured it. I don’t remember what it was, but it worked.
I avoid drugs altogether now, since I never know what will happen, if anything. Allergy meds are among the worst for crazy reactions, so I stick with herbs and supplements.
Lol, that’s funny about the hash. I never tried it mostly because of my asthma. I was a teenager in the late 60’s and early 70s. If a med is going to bother me it will upset my stomach. I was really surprised when the ivermectin didn’t. If COVID is worse than bronchitis I don’t need it.
