When we were in Germany in the early 80’s they were worried about the “Swarthy Ones” invading their country. It only got worse from through the years.
I was stationed at Spangdahlem, AB from 6/84 to 6/86. I went TDY about twenty times to a site we had in Bavaria and there were a lot of complaints from the locals about the number of Turks taking over certain areas.
