It’s bad enough you come to work smelling like your dogs with dog hair all over you.

Leave your dogs at home.

Except for Facebook and Twitter (who cares), every one needs to return to the office. If they are not willing to go back, fire them. As simple as that.

I’m pet-sitting for a friend.
Can I bring Clancy, the Huntsman Spider to the office with me?

He’ll be in a sealed box most the time, except when I take him for walks in the Conference Room. I use harness and leash.
He is even trained to ‘Shake Hands’!

Most companies would be crazy to even consider this. It’s one thing to have a shop dog or a junk store cat, but I don’t see office space with the potential for multiple workers to bring a dog or cat to work with them. There will be fights and bites.

Pets are not comparable to service animals which are extensively trained to ignore other people and animals and to focus on their human.

Does Returning to the Office Mean Bringing Pets to Work?

Short answer: Yes!

Long answer: Yes, and it also means attending office meetings in your underwear and perhaps even enjoying a "matinee" with your spouse now and then during office hours.

Regards,
