The Bexar County Sheriff's Office of Texas has fired Lieutenant Roxanne Mathai after she made Facebook posts touting her participation in the January 6 Capitol insurrection. She has not been criminally charged.
"......And we are going in......in the crowd at the stairs...not inside the capitol like the others," Mathai wrote in one of her posts. She included a selfie of her wearing a red, white and blue mask and draped in a flag declaring support for President Donald Trump.
"THIS IS TRUMP NATION" another photo post of hers declared, alongside red, white and blue hearts. "Not gonna lie.....aside from my kids, this was, indeed, the best day of my life. And it's not over yet," she wrote in a third post along with more photos of the rioters.

This mendacious narrative is sickening. The gathering at the Capitol was NOT an insurrection!
Anyone who watched in real time the coverage of theh events of that afternoon knows that people were gathered peacefully and the guards calmly opened the door and invited them to enter the chamber calmly and peacefully. And that is what they did.
I personally wouldn’t call her that guilty.
It’s a Texas-size lawsuit situation. Go for it girl!

In a totalitarian society such as ours, with a completely subservient media, an incident is whatever the state needs it to be.
Nazi Pelousi has declared the incident an armed insurrection - and so that is what it is. Simple unthinking protestors, occupying property that they have owned for over 200 years, are being held in solitary confinement under brutal conditions, without criminal charges, without attorneys and without trial dates.
The Tyrant Free Press is reporting that some of them are facing 99 years in prison, but don't worry, they will die long before that in the Alaskan gulag work camps.

There’s that word again. MSM keeps pushing the DNC propoganda. Wonder what Slow Joe would do if there was a genuine insurrection/uprising. Drop nuclear bombs on US cities?
Exactly.
If this is everything they have against her, she’s going to win the lawsuit. While private employers can fire employees (in most states) for their public political comments (unbelievably), government employers may not. This is reasonably well-settled civil law.
The county has to be able to demonstrate with a preponderance of evidence that she committed some kind of crime or she violated their code-of-conduct. They don’t allege any evidence of a crime here, much less a preponderance of evidence. And, unless they can show they’ve fired other officers for participating in public political demonstrations (like BLM protests), then they can’t fire her simply because they find her political opinions objectionable or because others committed crimes who were attending the same political demonstration.
Honestly though, they don’t care if they lose. It’s not their money and even if they do, this kind of action still has a chilling effect and ultimately, that’s exactly what they want.
Because they'll come up on the radar of the Democrats' Geheimstaatspolizei.
