Bells Palsy is what i thought also.
About 30 years ago I worked for a doc who had GB onset. First symptom was he had fallen down in parking lot. He called his wife who is a pediatric neurologist and she diagnosed it right away based on his description of the event, etc.
GB is a very nasty condition.
