If I ate there I surely would leave no tip

Most people I know tip 20% then round up to nearest dollar
This policy is an effective pay cut

When I waited tables I hated the gratuity Imposed on party size. More often than not it resulted in a lower tip

Wait a minute here, they are saying a service charge of 15% is to pay for increased wages? I seriously doubt that is what increased labor costs as a percent of any bill. I almost always leave 25% now as a gratuity for normal service, more if better, 15% if poor as I know servers and staff are not paid a whole lot. BUT, I do not plan to have that on top of 15% to start. Sorry if restaurant people think they became nuero surgeons over night, that that is not the case.
