LOL I had no idea I was so late. 530! I’ll never catch up.
Getting out of house in 15 days after 40 years living there is not easy.
Good luck!

I can so relate. We sold our house of 20 years in Jan. I didn’t want to move 20 years worth of accumulation. After awhile your brain starts to hurt having to make so many snap decisions on what to move and what to get rid of. There is a good youtubechannel called the minimalist mom. Good inspiration from her site. Here is a link.

Just remember, you are going to get rid of stuff that you later wish you had. That is ok. It happens to everyone.
Also, get rid of the stuff that constantly talks to you. You know the shirt that doesn’t fit anymore and keeps screaming at you to lose weight. Or the china you inherited that keeps asking you why you never use them. Or the ugly bedspread you spent too much money on. LOL

I will be praying for you, Jvette. Prayers for energy and focus. That’s what happened to us... only 28 yrs. Still every nook and cranny was filled.
I was dreaming every night about the old house, what the people were doing to it lol. That’s tapered off to about once a week and lately I’ve been dreaming we have a day to move!
Next time I might sell the house furnished lol. I, too have a lot of valuables from grandparents, inlaws, great grandparents, etc and my kids, including my dil aren’t even remotely interested.
Years ago, a fairly wealthy lady adopted us and she gave me an entire set of Spode India Tree dishes. I was thrilled! They are beautiful.

THAT is a GIANT task! I know that YOU know that :)
I need to go through each room/closet/drawer but always find better things to do.
Are you moving far? Sometimes long distance moves are easier than close by ones.
Best of luck, regardless.
I’ll pray for you too. I can’t even imagine - it’s a PITA just cleaning out the utility room for the first time in 17 years! I’m not moving again. Nope. Negative. Period. They will have to move me out. Feet first. To the crematorium, that is, and not before!
