The fake tweet purported to be from McAfee was parody. Because the building collapsed whoever wrote the tweet made a pun saying his evidence was there as if that was why the building collapsed. Obviously written after the fact.
From what I can tell the inspection was on going when this occurred. Knowing Florida county inspectors they can take “forever” to do an inspection and Dade County which along with Monroe County (Key West) is hurricane central so inspection on a building like this could take a long time, especially if the issues that have been reported were happening. Plus am not familiar with the county process, does the county wait until the inspection is finished to notify the owners of its findings or does it notify owners as it finds problems. With foreign owners and LLCs involved this process would be be more complicated.
As for the homeowners can they really do an effective “home inspection” of a condo. I’ve never been a fan of ocean front property but these condos were selling in the 600,000 to 1.4 million range, which is cheap for the views they had in Miami Beach/Surfside. So if someone inspected the particular unit they were interested in would they find the structural issues that caused the collapse anywhere since the building was built in 1981 or would they be knowledgeable enough to look for these issues or hire someone who would? Plus since each condo has an owner one wouldn’t be able to inspect other condos for structural issues that might effect the unit they were looking at.
It is sad that this happened, but one thing that will come out of this is more regulations promulgated by the local government.
I had surgeries too and they definitely help to remove the big chunks.
But I had little deposits all over, on a nerve and in my diaphragm and lungs. They could not be scraped off without causing bigger problems.
My doctor was honest that some people cannot tolerate Lupron and that you are abruptly throwing all your hormones out of whack and need to have people in your life looking out for you.
Luckily I had good co-workers to confide in who were ready to watch me for signs of abrupt changes in personality and take action.
The other thing I wonder about endo is what teen and pre-teen girls are being told about it these days. If a girl complains about bad menstrual symptoms, are some doctors suggesting she has hormonal problems and that this is a sign was she meant to be a boy? I know it sounds crazy, but the whole push to make kids think they need to think about being the opposite sex is crazy.
Serious discussions need to take place regarding options for pregnancy. Pregnancy is not always practical when someone is 21 and not even dating and in an environment where many men don’t want to have kids yet or can’t support them. It would be controversial and against many religious beliefs, but theoretically a woman could choose to get pregnant by sperm donated from a man married to a woman who can’t have kids and give them the gift of parenthood. Then, when the kid is 18 and she meets him or her and the parents, she could have a little mini second family and friends for life.
The woman could also be encouraged to date and be set up with a guy of 30 or so who is looking to settle down.

I think your theory is interesting and does hold water.
I thought I read somewhere that Obama “un-outlawed” gain of function research days before Trump took office.
I still can’t help thinking Fauci pushing the funding through Eco Alliance wasn’t in part so China had a failsafe and way to come back against arguments they should be made to make reparations if their deep state allies screwed up and got caught.

I am thankful I escaped the couple of really weird years with (relatively) little brain damage.
You were lucky to find a good surgeon.
My own doctor recognized his limitations as a surgeon and sent me for consults, but they all wanted to rip everything out.
We gave up on finding someone to do the kind of procedures you had.
I knew of women who traveled once a year to states several states away to get surgery. But that only works well if you have family there or people to travel with you.

I had a headline but can’t find it, from yesterday, DeSantis said he’s going to have investigation into the details of why the condo building collapsed. If I can find it i’ll post it.
