Once when a Spaniard was lecturing me on how racist Americans are I asked him “would you let your daughter marry a gypsy?” He looked at me like I had spat in his face and said “No! Of course not!” I shrugged and said “so who’s racist?” His response: “But but but ... that’s totally different! Gypsy’s are all thieves!”
