A new homeowner got more than she bargained for when a group of men broke into her newly-purchased New Jersey home and claimed the property as their 'ancestral home'.
In a TikTok video that has garnered over 325,000 views, Shanetta Little, 37, or @regblackgrl, describes her bizarre encounter with the extremist group known as Moorish Sovereign Citizens, in a 49-part 'story time' explanation which ended with a SWAT team being called in.
Moorish Sovereign Citizens has been labeled an extremist group of squatters who do not recognize the authority of the United States government or its laws.
In the video, Little explains the men broke into her Newark home while she wasn't there on June 18, sawed off the locks, and changed them.
She noticed the break-in when she arrived at her home one afternoon to have the gas lines fixed and discovered her keys didn't work.
Little, who works as an operations specialist, explained she had been living in a separate apartment while renovations on her new home were being made.
'I'm stumbling with the locks, feeling like an idiot and I slowly realize this isn't even my doorknob anymore because my house had an original, vintage doorknob,' Little told DailyMail.com.
She says she immediately called her contractor to see if she had changed the locks when she was last there. When Little discovered her contractor wasn't the one who switched out the locks, her anxiety kicked in.

Wonder if the cops would have done anything if the home owner hadn’t been African American.
And that police sargeant is obese.
Like BLM and antics, Sovereign Citizens is a logical outcome of our own universities, ‘government,’ Hollywood, media, and fellow travelers (globalists, progressives, etc) who proclaim their own hatred of our ‘white supremacist’ nation every day.
“Like BLM and antics” I see that the automatic spell checker was at work and changed antifa to antics.
Obvious white supremacy as the pre-Columbus discovery by the Moors has not been accepted by white experts! Wonder how this homeowner feels about property rights NOW? Remember, to BLM, ANITIFA and others of the LEFT, private property, especially of real estate, is intolerable!
WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE, THEN ? ?
This story has to be parody as no one in their right mind would voluntarily want to acquire a house in Newark.
Agreed but note she spelled it phonetically as 'Sargent'. You want to take another try at SERGEANT?
This has got to be one of the most misspelled words from those who have never had to write reports for those fearsome NCOs. (Old English import from Norman(?) French 'servient' - serving) AKA "Don't call me 'sir', I work for a living!"
SMILE!
We could see more of this. The Demrats have found another natural constituency group. They’ll say the squatters are “mostly peaceful”.
Moops gone wild.
Dude, Cut me some slack. I’m posting with my phone four inches from my nose this morning.
I don’t have spelling issues.
I have vision issues.
Capisce?
I suspect that a lot of people here wouldn’t bother wasting their time expecting the police to deal with the situation (although they did handle it well in Newark, to their credit).
Is the posted excerpt first of the 49 parts of the story?
Thanks Obama
Don't hold your breath for that, lady. Prosecutor in Newark is kinda busy. Your case will be ignored in the order in which it was received.
Next time buy a place not in Newark.
No worries, spelling “capisce” buys you an indulgence.
My favorite response to being called sir: I was a sergeant. I worked for a living!
Here we go with the inverted fried chicken bucket brigade again. They sure don't have ant trouble cashing their welfare checks issued from a state whose laws they say don't apply to them, do they? I've wondered if they don't keep a a couple of drumsticks under those buckets for emergencies.
My dad had a way to remove squatters from his mother’s small rental house in the 50s. One found his way out the closed second floor window, the other was kicked down the front steps and when he came too he had a 45 screwed in his ear. I was ten when I saw this happen. Decided then and there to NEVER mess with my dad!
