Rush can’t be replaced. I am sure these two will have no where near the attraction.

I wonder if Rush’s estate and/or his widow...owns this show.Of course she owns his name...which they’re obviously using.

Apparently, Buck Sexton is also doing his established 3-hour program, too, for the time being. Six hours is spreading it a little thin. I really like him, so will give a listen today to the pair. It will never be must-listen, though, not like it was for so long... do I ever wish I could hear Rush with all that's cooking right now.

Never heard a show with two people that I cared for.

I stopped listening to talk radio pretty much after Rush passed away. I did listen to the last week of Rush’s show and thought Ken Matthews did a nice job of ending its run. I listen to a smattering of Hannity and Levin. Hannity is boring to listen to and Levin is too busy these days promoting his latest new book that he promises will help “save” the country. I wish Clay and Buck the best of luck. They and the rest of conservative talk radio have a huge void that collectively they can never fill.

I like Sexton. He's got a lot of inside baseball knowledge (CIA, etc.) & I like Clay as well so I'm going to give them a listen. My local station, which I listened to all day for conservative talk, has decided to not run the Sexton/Travis show but has opted for "The Dana Show" instead. She's ok but just not as good, IMHO, as Sexton is but if the boys crap out, I'll turn it back over to Dana & give her a listen.
I wish I understood why the local radio station is going with Dana. Just an oddball decision to me

Sorry. I’ll look for Mark Steyn

Don’t think I’ve ever heard Clay, but have heard Buck. Rush’s shoes are impossible to fill, but look forward to hearing what these guys bring to the table.

Will check them out. I have heard Sexton before as sub for some other radio hosts. I find Bongino difficult to listen to on Cumulus in that time-slot.

“fight and fear” same message I’d heard in their earlier ad
Rush presented a show, it wasn’t a “fight” it was “equal time” it was “education”.

I stopped listening to Buck Sexton months ago. At first, I enjoyed the funny voices and liked some of his ex-CIA insights. But he quickly became repetitive, talking masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants and on and on. Okay! I got it in the first five minutes of the first day! What else is happening in the world?
The final straw came on Sept. 18, 2020 at 7:55 pm. Buck announced the breaking news that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had just died. I waited with anticipation for 8:06 to hear his commentary and to hear what callers would say. At 8:06 his third hour began, and Buck Sexton talked about masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants and masks and restaurants.
Either a) he really believed that rehashing "masks and restaurants" was more interesting than contemplating the Supreme Court post-Ginsburg, b) he had no thoughts on the Supreme Court post-Ginsburg, or c) he was too lazy or busy to stay live and had put in a tape of an earlier show.
Whichever it was, he showed me that he was not serious about talk radio. If he didn't care about the audience, why should I care about him?

I've never heard of Clay Travis before Premiere's May 27 announcement.
Wikipedia says he is pro-abortion. I have no idea if that is true -- it is Wikipedia. But if Travis is pro-abortion, I am anti-Travis.

Not sure what it all means, but it’s interesting that KSFO in San Francisco is broadcasting Dan Bongino in the 9-12 slot, not these guys. Not that SF is such a bastion of conservative thought, but...

I tried, but can't waste my time. I don't tune in to hear the hosts talk about themselves. Then their first caller says how well they are doing
I listen to Chris Plante in the mornings, and Levin at night or in podcast.
looks like talk radio is dying after Rush.

Neither Travis or Sexton were among my replace preferences but I will certainly give them a listen for awhile. They have to settle in and get comfortable with their new job and that takes time. We shall see.
