I don’t know if aliens exist or are visiting earth (I suspect they do and are), but if they actually do/are, that would explain EVERYTHING that is going on.
CONTROL over the entire earth population/planet for their own benefit. Using willing/bribed “important” humans to help accomplish their goals.
Far fetched? Maybe, but truth is often stranger than fiction.

Well, someone certainly wants that, though I am not sure aliens would need to create a ruse to do so. Humans, on the other hand, most certainly would need to do so. 8>)
