The Pennsylvania state senator in charge of a key election committee is backing an audit of the November presidential contest similar to Arizona’s partisan ballot review, four days after former President Donald Trump called him out and claimed he was dragging his feet.
Despite two audits and assurances from every level of government that the election was free of widespread fraud, Sen. David Argall (R., Schuylkill) told Spotlight PA he does not see the “damage in doing it one more time to try to answer the concerns that people have.”
But such an effort, particularly if advanced by just one political party, will be sure to attract criticism and come with critical questions, including how much it would cost, who would pay for it, and why it would be any more trustworthy than the widely accepted audits already completed.
Argall’s counterpart in the state House has rejected an additional audit, but the Senate is able to order its own review, and Argall’s committee has the power to subpoena ballots.
“The results are the results,” Argall said Friday during Spotlight PA’s Capitol Live event, when asked if he accepted November’s results as legitimate. “The Electoral College has spoken, you know the president has been sworn in. I understand that’s a reality.”
**SNIP**
On Monday, Trump targeted Argall as well as state Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R., Centre), demanding an audit and asking if they were “stupid, corrupt, or naive?”
“I feel certain that if Corman continues along this path of resistance, with its lack of transparency, he will be primaried and lose by big numbers,” the former president said in a statement.

The PA RINOs in the PA House are absolutely fighting this to the bitter end but as in Arizona, the PA State Senate has the power to push ahead for a forensic audit.
My read is that Arizona is going to detail major problems in their audit but Pennsylvania will be the national winner for election fraud in Election Theft 2020.
Georgia will be vying for second place.
This is not going away. Thankfully, people are fighting and President Trump called out this PA State Senator and he’s getting crushed with the focus on him.
Really want to see a PA forensic audit happen. Now it looks more likely.
See? This is exactly why the Deep State hates Trump. He keeps stepping on their prerogatives - in this case, to install sycophants with an (R) label in high places, and keep them there unmolested by voter opinions. :)
As long as the Republicans are doing something that has symbolic value and is emotional to promote their efforts in the next election, it will be allowed.
We shall see where this leads?
The article mentions TWO audits. When did they perform a statewide audit? This is pure bull$hit. There were NO audits of the 2020 election ballots. That is a stinking lie.
Pennsylvania law requires a statistical sample of ballots be analyzed by each county to verify results. In addition, there was a pilot program this election to analyze a sample of paper ballots to see if a hand recount would make any difference. That program will be mandatory statewide in 2022.
That’s what they’re calling an audit.
LOL…assurances from the cheaters that they didn’t cheat.
Yes Sen Frank Ryan has already documented the differences in the SURE system and the number of votes counted. I think he was at about 400,000 which is mostly philly, pitts and the 2 commie counties around philly. In Delco there are 29,000 more mail in votes counted than there were mail in voters updated as voted. I emailed Corman to start with that. Haven’t emailed Aragal yet. Also Seth Grove and Doug M on repealing act 77 . Doug i think has the SB submitted. And one to repeal no excuse mailin voting.
Should be riots.

Just something about the truth when it’s in print for all to see.
