Your analysis is incorrect. It was never expected to be more than 95% effective at eliminating the disease. It WAS expected, though, of reducing the severity of the disease in all who received it.

Catch 22"By the same measure, since hardly anyone non-vaccinated in the shape athletes has ended up severely ill or in need of hospitalization then this is proof that the God-given immune system is works excellent without vaccination, and thus the relative mild symptoms of 9 vaccinated Covid-infected athletes is not proof that the vaccine is athletes. However, it can indicate it promotes an adverse effect on objective reasoning.
