I know a lot of physicians. I do not know one who isn’t vaccinated
I have one colleague who isn’t and he wears a mask all winter every year. Not just covid year.
“I know a lot of physicians. I do not know one who isn’t vaccinated”
I can see this. Being a doctor and constantly in enclosed spaces with sick people would certainly change my risk assessment on this matter.
Do you think that 96% of physicians nationwide, as an average based on the sample, have taken the covid vaccine?
Then you obviously don't know my wife. She is an internal medicine doc. She (and most of her colleagues) won't go near these so-called vaccines.
Same here, I work at a small hospital, most of the people in line both days I went were docs.
I don't know many, but I reached out to an alum who is a well respected physician. He hasn't been vaccinated...that's good enough for me.
He said he was going to send me some info later.
The Gonzaga community is aghast over basketball legend John Stockton's comments. He's now categorized as "just a basketball player." LOLOL, John is a well educated man who attended Gonzaga before it went woke, graduating in 1984.
I know what the school was like long ago: free speech reigned on campus, diverse ideas were accepted, and sociology majors used us as lab rats, with hilarious results. One of my most memorable classes was from a senior philosophy class, where 12 of the 14 students were philosophy or theology majors.
I recall that the "light went on" when the professor, one of the few Jesuits I had, ripped the veneer off the mystery of philosophy: "it's not what you say, it's how you say it, because philosophy is nothing but a bunch of bull$hit." I worked my butt off for that B, and I'm very proud of that grade.
As you might suspect, I stand proudly with Mr. Stockton.
LOL, I received several harsh comments for a picture I posted after the Zag-Virginia game last December. Our crime? Lowering our masks a few seconds for pictures. Seattle alums were certain this was a super spreader event. The players enjoyed their visit to Fort Worth, thrilled to actually play before fans, quite a few family members flew down to see their sons play live for the first time last year.
That's my grandson with Corey Kispert and Jalen Suggs, two young men that will be playing in the NBA next season. Corey was the 4th Zag to earn First Team All American for both basketball and academics.
