Are appointments still needed for barber shops and hair salons?

Have a question for Freepers. Are appointments still needed for barber shops and hair salons? I called my barber yesterday to make an appointment for a haircut. I was told it was no longer required to make an appointment. I live in California and not in a homeless area. Temp. today was 108 degrees

Move closer to the coast and it’ll be cooler. There’s a barber in Huntington Beach that dresses like a clown and has his face tattooed.

That’s the way it has always been? SORRY
Covid restrictions required appointments be made. Covid restrictions were lifted in CA on 15 June 21

If you go where I go, you make an appointment. But that was true before the pandemic.

My barber has always been first come, first served.

But what I really hate is not being able to wash all the cut hair itching my neck afterwards.

The Commando 450 showerhead is the only way to go.

Sorry, I don't live behind the Iron Curtain in Kalifornia. I was born there but will never go back. Everybody I know who still lives there is moving out. Something about the Comrade Dictator Newsom of the Kalifornia Kommunist Party is getting recalled?

I live in the Free Red State of Florida and I haven't made an appointment for a haircut is several years. We don't pay much attention to the covid restrictions around here because there are none. I've only worn a mask once or twice in the last 18 months.

We still live in the USA, not the USSA.

I have a lady come to our home to cut my hair for the past 4 years. She is a friend of my wife’s nail painter and charges $60 and I tip her $40. I’m 88 and have a over active bladder.

Free States vs. Slave States. Haven’t we seen this film before?

In Michigan, as of Tuesday, June 22nd all restrictions are set to expire. The state Congress is also introducing bills that would curtail the governors emergency powers in future crises.

My son and I ate at our favorite Thai hole-in-the-wall restaurant in San Rafael a couple weeks ago (Bay Thai Cuisine, 809 Fourth St.) We sat at a table on the sidewalk and there were mostly normal people strolling by, but we had a couple way out there freaks go by. One woman was doped out of her mind and gyrating and screwing herself into contortions. I don’t know how she managed to keep standing.

If the temp is above 105 and you are not homeless then you don’t need an appointment.

That’s a good area for food. Every so often I will drive through 4th street near the “Smart” Train rails. I often smell some DEE-licious Hot Dogs! Unfortunately, I can’t tell who’s making them, since I’m moving in traffic. One day. I’ll have to stop, feed a parking meter and look around for it.

I was at a mall months ago when they first had COVID testing and I got a short haircut right-away.
