Don't want to toot my own horn, (Da da lut da da lut da da lut!) but I was an advocate for Buck Sexton for years, ever since I heard him in 2013, I believe. And I thought he should be in the running to replace Rush in his time slot.

I do have to say I was really impressed with Jason Lewis--he was the most Limbaugh-esque, I must say. He was smart, was funny, no fakery. (laugh, etc) you could tell he was a listener who knew the show, and he could only get better. He needs to be the fill in host for Sexton and Travis--he was the best of the bunch. Although i do have to say Ken Matthews was, in retrospect, the right guy to send the show off, if/since Steyn seemingly didn't want to do it, or the EIB brass didn't want him to do it.

I hope someone writes a book that chronicles the Post-Rush show period. I would love to have someone in the know that can answer the questions I have that are bugging me about the whole thing.
