While weed whacking last week I spotted a large alligator lizard dragging another lizard, almost the same size and quite dead, by the neck.

Thinking I was after it's lunch, the lizard moved too fast to identify the type of lizard it's victim was.

Southern Alligator Lizard? Real a**holes. The Northerns are really mellow.
