I don't think I've ever posted a thread asking to support a candidate. Not even for Rand Paul!
However, this is important.
Ken Paxton is facing a primary in Texas for Attorney General against George P. Bush who is seeking to climb the greasy pole and will be well funded and endorsed by lots of well known people.
I would argue this is a flagship race that should be on the radar of Freepers and conservatives NATIONALLY.
We cannot allow another Bush to infiltrate the system pretending to be a conservative especially after the damage done by the last one.
WHO IS WITH ME?
We must support Ken early and often!
Please see his website.
I know the primary is some way off so I will definitely keep an eye on this race and try and rally Freepers/conservatives.
Anyone in Texas please tell us what we can do to help!
I would argue stopping this Bush in his tracks is just as important as getting rid of Cheney or some of the other congresscritters on the list.
I know people here will understand what I mean.
Who knew the race for Texas AG could be so important?
The Bush family is still very powerful in Texas. We will be keeping a close eye on this race. Thanks for posting this.
does it matter to anyone that he is under indictment? I mean, criminal charges seem serious when your talking about an AG.
*you're
no one has answered my question: how smart is it to nominate a guy for AG who is under a criminal indictment and going to trial— probably in the middle of the election?
Thank you for post . I’ll be voting for Paxton . The way P. handled the Alamo pissed me off .
Okay, I will answer your question:
I will vote for Paxton in the primary.
If P is the nominee, I will vote Democrat. It will be no different than P’s Grandpa, Pa, and Uncle voting for Biden.
Does that answer your question?
first of all, that wasn’t really my question. but all of that could conceivably happen.
and then when the time to pay for having a dem AG rolls around, you’ll blame a random imaginary republican bogeyman for the destruction of your state instead of the mother fudge packer democrat (that you elected to office) that is actually doing the damage.
you need to accept responsibility for your actions. ask the people of GA how it feels to be represented in the senate by a liberal weenis with ears and reverend bomb thrower.
I can’t believe the good people of Texas would EVER vote out Paxton, he is AWSOME!!!
FINALLY I am so happy to hear NO MORE voting the lesser of two evil, they ARE the same damn evil!! NO MORE Bushes!!!
You mis-read my statement: I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils.
I will not complain about the Democrats I choose to vote for. Given that the Democrat Minors are supporting the same destructive policies that the Democrat Majors supported 10 years ago leaves me little concern.
At this point, I would rather the entire world know that these are Democrat policies so that they cannot call the legislation ‘bi-partisan’.
my actual question was, do you think its potentially problematic to nominate a guy that’s under criminal indictment to be the premier law enforcement officer in the state?
no bush psychosis involved in this question.
you drove the senate off a cliff with that retarded bumper sticker logic; maybe you’ll luck out and screw TX, too.
AL, GA, TX . . . the trail of debris in your righteous wake is impressive.
Voting the lesser of two evil got us the Republican Party we have today, one that LET a fraudulent election stand, one that stabbed Trump in the back at EVERY TURN, one that has done NOTHING to close our borders, one that has done NOTHING to keep our manufacturing in the homeland, one that is in bed with China I’m sorry BUT I am DONE with these Dem RINOS!! They are ALL a club no difference in the two NONE!!!
listening to your hallucinations lost us the senate.
and trump doesn’t seem to agree with you about the state of the republican party ; he recently called it “very strong”. so unless you’re supernaturally in psychic communication with trump, maybe you should stop speaking for him.
and STOP caps LOCKING every OTHER word. it’s annoying a hell.
Trump is very mistaken about the Republican Party AND so are you!!!
sounds like everyone is wrong except you and the other 10 caps locking FR screamers.
I said straight up I would vote for Paxton.
I would have thought it obvious that I see no issues with any potential indictments brought about by Collin County prosecutors. After all, we now live in an era when people are targeted for criminal investigation based upon their conservative political views. This has become the accepted norm during all of Trump’s term.
there’s nothing potential about it. he has been indicted, and is going to trial. the potential that you need to ponder is the trial happening during the election, or, heaven forbid, he’s convicted.
Not my worry. I will vote for a yellow dog before I vote for a Bush again.
I voted 4 times for Grandpa ‘Read My Lips’.
I voted 8 times for Uncle ‘No Nation Building’.
That family has zero integrity.
The entire Bush family is lying scum. Never ever vote Bush
