SUPPORT KEN PAXTON IN TEXAS - No more Bush's!

I don't think I've ever posted a thread asking to support a candidate. Not even for Rand Paul!

However, this is important.

Ken Paxton is facing a primary in Texas for Attorney General against George P. Bush who is seeking to climb the greasy pole and will be well funded and endorsed by lots of well known people.

I would argue this is a flagship race that should be on the radar of Freepers and conservatives NATIONALLY.

We cannot allow another Bush to infiltrate the system pretending to be a conservative especially after the damage done by the last one.

WHO IS WITH ME?

We must support Ken early and often!

Please see his website.

I know the primary is some way off so I will definitely keep an eye on this race and try and rally Freepers/conservatives.

Anyone in Texas please tell us what we can do to help!

I would argue stopping this Bush in his tracks is just as important as getting rid of Cheney or some of the other congresscritters on the list.

I know people here will understand what I mean.

Who knew the race for Texas AG could be so important?

Amen! George P. Bush wouldn't even be considered as qualified to be AG if his name weren't Bush!

I've been done with the Bushes for a long time!

Fool me twice, shame on me. It isn't going to happen a third time!!!

If there is anything we can do to help please let me know.

I hope and trust Paxton can raise enough money and run a good campaign because George P. Bush will throw a lot of money at it I would imagine.

“I like them both very much,” Trump said in a statement about Paxton and George P. in late May. “I’ll be making my endorsement and recommendation to the great people of Texas in the not-so-distant future.”

And if Trump does choose George P. over the scandal-tarred Paxton, the scion of the first family of Republican politics is very likely to be the next attorney general of Texas — and on a fast-track to the governor’s mansion.

Texas is extremely important! And stopping George P. from being yet another high-profile Bush is vital. I'd love to see Ken Paxton win.

I’ll vote for Paxton again.

I did not vote for Pee Bush when he won the office of Land Commissioner nor will I vote for Pee Bush for any office.

Thank you sir.

I hope your position is shared among the wider primary voters?

This is what I’m hoping for anyway.

You can be sure that P. will have all the money in the world to have a go at this.

I get that hating the bushes is a spectator sport on FR, but doesn’t anyone think that nominating a guy that will be on trial for a criminal offense during the election will be a problem?

Ken Paxton is a GREAT attorney general. The Demonrat communists and their rino buddies have thrown everything at him they can continuously ever since he was elected, and he has still done a fantastic job. Throwing a Bush at him is a continuation of this. Support Ken Paxton!

Saying the right things when running, and doing the right things when in office are 2 very different things. (See John Cornyn for a prime example.) Ken Paxton is a proven conservative. I do not trust Bush.

so, this bush could be 100% right on the issues (if such a thing exists), but we should all still hate him because his last name is bush. is that what you’re ramping up to? so, trump himself could endorse this bush, and we should still hate him because his last name is bush? just trying to get my hate organized.

Paxton is a solid conservative. George P. is not doing conservatives any favors by trying to primary him.

And even if he says all the right things, it does not mean he is not a poseur. Maybe you should find a Joe Manchin thread and explain why we should all trust him on the filibuster because he has said all the right things.
