NASA has Approved a Space Telescope That Will Scan the Skies for Dangerous Near-Earth Democrats
There, fixed it
Tribalism is a good thing and will be absolutely essential for those left alive after a large meteor hit.
“Shelter in place! And leave some toilet paper for others to buy.”
Good news. Helpful step along the path of hopefully some day being able to deflect an asteroid if such a thing is possible.
Was this a space hardware report or an exercise in SJW crap? Because that is how it reads....
Don’t remind me. Thank goodness I had plenty of tp before the scamdemic hit.
“The whole idea is to provide as much time as possible to develop mitigation efforts that enable us to push them out of the way.”
“It would be a shame if an asteroid ended humanity, and even life on Earth, while we were still struggling to become reliably peaceful. If NASA can play its part, maybe we’ll make it.”
If you can nudge a killer rock out of the way, you can also do the reverse and nudge a rock into our orbit, making our nukes look like popcorn. Whoever has the capability to modify an asteroid orbit has an extremely powerful weapon. Imagine if Tunguska had happened over Paris, or Barringer had happened over Phoenix, or if there were another Chesapeake event.
What if the UFOs are here simply to move wayward astroids away from our planet?
ha ha ... but I like the way you think.
Give the job to Elon Musk. He’ll figure out a way to get er done.
I was going to say that everyone should ignore the pop-sociology crap. But I knew you guys would catch it!
I’m more worried about dangerous on-earth politicians.

Wonder if it can see the NEOs that are coated with soot?
Let’s piss away some more money.
ML/NJ
I would say it’s a better use of money than trying to find out if there are bacteria on Mars.
Yes, it’s absolutely, positively throwing away money into the garbage pail trying prove we’re smarter than the dinosaurs were and that we don’t want to die the way they did, too dumb to do anything to prevent it.
