9th CIRCUIT COWBOY is the story of Judge Harry Pregerson who, for almost half a century, served on California’s famously liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and was known for placing his personal scruples over what he discounted as abstract legalities. “I looked upon being a judge,” he said, “as a chance to help as many people as I could through the law.” Growing up during the Depression in diverse East Los Angeles, Harry enlisted in the Marines in World War II and served in the Pacific. In the bloody Battle for Okinawa, he received a field commission to lieutenant after suffering severe gun shot wounds to his legs. After the war, he went on to become a lawyer, a district court judge and ultimately one of the most admired, and sometimes scorned, appellate judges in the United States – a champion for veterans, the homeless, the poor and the powerless.
A champion of everything except the law and the Constitution.

He says he wanted to help people, but he kept committing liberalism on them, which is the opposite. Guess you can’t always get what you want.

Judge Harry Pregerson was not ignorant. He was evil - a petty tyrant.
With that philosophy, he had no business being a judge. A judge’s job is to apply the law, not impose his idea of virtue on the country. One man’s virtue is another man’s tyranny.
Like the words “gay” and “diversity”, I have come to despise the use of the word “maverick”.
All three words used to be useful and meaningful words, and now they ae polluted by the Left.
You cannot be a Leftist and an American Patriot. It is impossible.
You can be a Chinese Patriot and be a Leftist.
You can be a Russian Patriot and be a Leftist.
You can be a Cuban Patriot and be a Leftist.
But you cannot be an American Patriot and be a Leftist.
