Oh.

A buddy of mine lives in Arvada. He’s a self-employed appliance repair/handyman. He’s a conservative and a capitalist. We stayed with him for a week four years ago and had a great time touring the mountains and partying on the patio.

I haven’t talked to him in a while, but I’d be interested to hear his opinion on this.

Heh. I guess in future everyone’s garage will have an electric car and an electric chair for when you can’t take ‘modern’ society any more.

But why does Mississippi have half as many people as Alabama? Seems both of those states are equal on the suck-meter, and they’re right next to each other. (I’ve never been to either one, except for about two hours in NW Mississippi one morning when I was still OTR trucking).

I learned about the population difference yesterday on a covid vaccine thread. Was surprised at how different their populations are.

The problem of course is that with states, all the statewide elections are popularity contests, unlike the Presidential election, so eventually, even the great places will be affected by the communism, Defund the Police, Antifa-BLM burnings, etc.

In my own state, Maryland, the radical nuts are starting to infest Frederick and harassing the police. All we need is for a D to win 2022 and Maryland is toast.

(Note: I’m hopefully moving to Florida later this year.)

According to the UN Climate stats:

C02 is .04% of the atmosphere.

3% of that .04% is attributable to “mankind” [I assume they’re including every possible source to maximize that statistic, from cow farts to dirty coal plants.] The rest [97%] occurs naturally and cannot be prevented or reduced [volcanoes, forest fires, leaching from ocean, etc].

15% of that 3% of that .04% is attributable to USA. [FYI - China is about 30%]

So .04 [ALL C02] x .3 [manmade] x .15 [USA] = .0018%.

That’s 18/10,000th’s of ONE PERCENT of ALL atmospheric C02 could be attributed to USA emissions under the left/socialist/commie’s numbers. Literally equivalent to a drop in an ocean.

You’re telling me that if USA reduced carbon emissions by half [and cause mass starvation, disease, war and death] it would make a damn bit of difference????? And if done, at what cost for what benefit? Oh yeah, C02 is kinda important to grow food.

Bad math. It’s actually .04 x .03 x .15 = .00018, or 18/100,000th’s of one percent.

If they Mandated that ALL Public Employee’s and Officers of the Court, used only Public Transportation or Clean Non Fossil Fuel modes of personal Travel in the ENTIRE State, they would easily meet the Religious Goals

Alabama has got lots of cool stuff in the northern sections. Little River Canyon, The Shools water area, Huntsville for NASA. Lake Weiss. If you like water and vegetation, northern Bama is the place. I did not actually answer the question about the difference in population between Miss. and Ala. yet Northern Bama is not bad.

In Other News...we’re in a drought and a Heat Wave (we got some relief this week) in Wisconsin. Our highways are buckling at an alarming rate up here on ‘The Frozen Tundra.’

So, go for it, Colorado. Good Luck and God Speed. *SNORT*

“So far this year the Wisconsin DOT has already reported 115 incidents of pavement buckling on state highways. That compares to 163 last year and just 105 in 2019.

Devin Harings, The Northwest Region Pavement Engineer for Wisconsin DOT says crews expect to deal with this issue every year. As Wisconsin’s climate includes temperatures that are extremely hot and extremely cold.”

Might use up enough oxygen if you have a small, tight sealed garage. Dunno.
