OH! I need that! Where did you find that photo, and what was it originally?

They sell them on Etsy and/or eBay. Hand made wooden crochet hook holders. I can’t find a direct link to that one; it was a random picture on the www.

Yes, I saw the Greyhounds in turtlenecks. Very classy.

That looks like one of my test-tube storage racks, only made of wood instead of wire.

Interesting idea.

I just love those crochet hooks!!!

I am deep into knitting right now. My “almost” daughter is getting married July 30, and I am knitting her a “wedding ring” shawl. I had a hard time deciding on the pattern, and then it took me several tries to get the correct weight and color yarn. I settled on a lace weight linen in a periwinkle color that had to be specifically dyed for me. That’s why I am now knitting like it’s a job, instead of a hobby.

I also learned a lot about the correct needles. The lace circular needle was great with tiny points for lifting threads in complex stitches and being made of brass so things don’t slip...... except the needle part was only about 3 inches long and not enough for me to really get a hold on. I settled on bamboo straight needles. The tip is not as small, but I can really hold them well for twisting the work when I go to knit in the back loop.

The good thing is Mr G says he’ll take care of dinner and dishes so I can knit!!! What a guy.
