Baby boy Remi and his best buddy Marni, the cockatoo.
Video: 3 minutes, 5 seconds
If you want on or off this list, please let me know.
Good Lord that’s so sweet it’s saccharine.
love this. A reprieve from the gloom news. thank you.
Friends of mine have a huge cockatoo, who was on my shoulder last week for a few minutes. He’s real mellow and his name is Gary.
That was absolutely priceless; thank you for posting it! Have greatly missed your videos. My favorite parts were when Marty was lying on his back beside the baby, and him perching on the edge at bath time. :-)
So sweet. Thank you.
You’re welcome. Just saw this one on Youtube and had to post it (since it had been some time since I posted any video links).
Very cute! Thanks for sharing.
Leni
Love it! Thank you
I have to admit that the YouTube animal videos have changed the way I think about animals. It is possible for people to become VERY emotionally attached to just about any animal, and vice-versa. I used to think that most wild animals could never become reliably friendly to people, but that was just wrong. People have serious friendships with sharks, lions, wolves, octopi, rhinoceri, turtles, lizards, a huge variety of birds, the list goes on and on. Also, animals can form deep attachments to members of different species, however unlikely the pairings may seem.
Sweet!
I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. Thank you! These two are just so sweet. What a great life they are having.
That’s cool. Kid will have a pet for life.
Cockatoos can be very intelligent.
I’d worry a bit about a baby that small accidentally hurting the bird, and having it take off a finger in retaliation.
Adorable, but Mom better be careful leaving the bird next to the Baby unsupervised. Big birds like this one, Cocakatiels or Conures can become very possessive of their owner, and lash out against anyone who interrupts the attention.
We have all heard of dogs being jealous of the new baby or new puppy. This is the same scenario. Those birds are very intelligent about some things, (mimicking sounds or learning routines ) but will remain mentally 4 years old for the rest of their feathery lives.
Russian accent?
Birds? Junkos been visiting the yard every day ... when I go out, they fly in to check out what’s up
This is soo cute! Please put me on your bird list.
Please remove me from the bird list. thank you
