You probably missed it; however, near the end of the video (behind “Snake Girl”) there are two young black men ...the one in a yellow shirt and khaki pants appears intoxicated and agitated. He pulls an AR-style pistol out of a bag or pack (the pistol appears to have a holographic or red-dot sight mounted on it). The other black individual appears to be his friend and is pulling him away as if trying to restrain him and calm him down.
As you said, apparently nothing happened; however, it looks like it came very close to a mass casualty event ...and thank God the young man had enough sense to restrain his friend and keep him from doing something really stupid, reckless and likely deadly!!!
“Are there moderate suburban moms in Buckhead?”
My good guess is mostly moderate and right, with left added in Several black homeowners as well.
Damn i was there in 98 i think for the Yankees world series
What a beautiful town and bar restaurant areas !
99
So you missed the part with the Amish gentleman with the AR, with his buddy grabbing him to stop him from doing anything extremely stupid?
confused (as usual) is this our Buckhead?
Yes, if you are including “Buckhead” in the question. it is our Buckhead. Or it was. And Atlanta used to be a city too busy to hate. No longer that, either.
I've got it saved.
I did miss that. Which is right at the point where the videographer realizes it’s time to leave.
Not remarkable in the hood, but unusual for Buckhead.
For now.
“A Man In Full”.
Yes, gave you a great insight into the common rules of old money blue blood Buckhead elites.
And if my memory serves me correct, Tom Wolfe was never invited back.
Consequences for breaking code.
Yes, Buckhead has large amounts of $ tied into Atlanta’s survival. Doesn’t seem to matter to the mayor though. She’s making an example of Atlanta for her agenda.
Are the cigar shops selling blunts?
No, and most of the humidor shops which sold very good cigars have been forced to close in Buckhead. Owning property/operating a business in Buckhead has become a financial risk. IMO
Sounds like some good upscale looting is being avoided.
See #41 and #45.
I saw a bunch of street savages acting like escapees from the simian exhibit at the local zoo.
Buckhead, who is not active here any more as far as I can tell, used to (may still) live in Buckhead, which is the northern very upscale part of the City of Atlanta. The governor’s mansion is there, on West Paces Ferry Road, as well as the Cherokee Town Club, etc. Do some Google Streetviews and you’ll get a sense of what I’m talking about by upscale.
Not enough white wimmuns to go around. Was that a scuffle over a rifle that I saw?
I did. I was looking at it on my phone, and I guess my eyes are not what they used to be.
I mistook the Amish fellow pulling his friend back from whatever stupidity he had planned for the two of them tussling.
The appropriately named mayor “Bottoms” calls the crime surge in Atlanta a “COVID crime wave”. Yeah right, COVID didn’t create BLM, dummy, and that’s what’s causing the crime to soar.
