That’s the thing about the antivaxxer brigade. They are inconsistent. They want absolute freedom until they decide something affects them. Then it’s off to law fare. I am glad the judge spammed their argument.

I think forced vaccination is idiocy and would fight against it everyday

I think people can and have generally made up their mind so any mandates at this point regarding mitigation should be ended.

I think 150M Americans agree enough with the vaccine to have decided to get the shot. It’s their choice

If a business is so short sighted to require a vaccine record to transact then that is a choice a business can and should make. It’s called freedom. I have the choice to not spend my money there. The market will sort it out. So as an above poster asked and then called me a medical tyrant of course a business can bar anyone from their place of business. But it’s generally not a good idea to turn down revenue. So it’s a red herring. The business will either continue at a profit or cease to exist based on its policies.

I think there is and we are seeing signs of a golden age of virology and treatment with monoclonals. This will be amazing.

Fauci is a total moron and should be shunned

The pandemic is ending at least in America because is the combination of natural and accelerated immunity through people who either had the disease or are vaccinated.

It’s the same as every other pandemic except this one got politicized. But it did really reveal that there are not all conservatives on this site

One of my favorite convenience stores chains in my neck of the woods imposed a “mandate” of sorts on their customers. Basically, it says everyone entering the store who is not vaccinated must wear a mask.

That bothered me — for about ten seconds … because I recognize the right of the business owner to impose these requirements but found it disgraceful that a business I've come to like would do such a thing.

My disgust lasted only ten seconds because I read the sign a second time and noticed something interesting: It doesn’t say anything about a COVID vaccine in particular.

So I walk in and out of there on regular basis. As soon as I picked up on that little nuance I realized that the management of the business establishment doesn’t give a flaming crap about whether or not the customers are vaccinated.
