No idea where this is, or when this was filmed, as the site only provides the video. Afghanistan perhaps?
I remember it from when jorge busho was Traitor In Chief.
Yep.
As a cloud of spent brass falls to the ground.
5.56mm
I still enjoyed it even with the low quality of the video. 8>)
I was stationed at Ubon RTAFB when the Spookies were flying out of there. The playing of “Ghost Riders in the Sky” was banned in the NCO and Officer clubs because the crews would, um, free associate too vigorously.
“They aimed the damn things with a mark on the window and sighting over the end of the wing! “
Yeah, no IR night vision, relied on dropped parachute flares to see anything at night.
Have an old slide I took sitting on the Chu Lai perimeter watching Puff work over something a ways off. That stream of tracers was amazing.
I HELPED BUILD THEM.
I HELPED BUILD THEM.
I HELPED BUILD THEM.
—”That stream of tracers was amazing.”
On the ground near impact, a fantastic help and terribly freighting at the same time.
This was from Afghanistan. I saw this video some years ago on a site called “Weasel Zippers’’.
Afraid to blow up a mosque? That would be a perfect location for a weapons depot or fire base. Like they would have any problem attacking a church? No wonder we lost.
They had some really good vids in the early 2000s. What happened to the site?
I don’t know. Haven’t been able to find it in a while.
For some reason it asks me to sign in, but I no longer remember what password I used. I was so looking forward to seeing and hearing the video too. 8>)
