Well for pizza toppings it’s prosciutto, provolone, capolla and now cicada. If the name fits, eat it. LOL Nothing replaces anchovies as the worst pizza topping not even the loud bugs.

I’m one of those weirdos who likes anchovies. On pizza, in puttanesca, on an antipasto plate...heck yeah. So did both parents and a couple of my siblings.
I’ll take a hard pass on the cicadas, though.
Looove anchovies on a pizza, or in anything. It’s also the preferred condiment for ancient Romans (garum).
