Officially called the "2018–20 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament," that mouthful is traditionally pared down to "Euro 2020" or, even more succinctly, the "Euros."
This is the 16th edition of the tournament, which is designed to crown the top international team in all of Europe. After years of qualifying matches, we're down to the final 24 teams, broken into six groups of four for the group stage.

I think Denmark will beat England.
A large percentage of Italy’s involve five or fewer touches. They are very good on the counter-attack. Don’t think possession % is as important for them. They do defend exceptionally well.
Denmark will have to avoid giving up corners and set play opportunities against England. England is very good on them.

Do you follow? It’s very interesting to read the commentary during matches.

GOAL ITALY!!!!
FINALLY!
CHIESA!!!!! Wonderful finish!
Three passes, about 8 touches, and Italy scores. Typical of their strategy to counter-attack.
How did Spain not score in the 64th minute.
Spain is turning up the pressure. We might be getting extra time. Spainish subs getting b ready to enter the match. Morata came in earlier and now Moreno. Fresh legs against what is likely a tiring Italian back four.
Rest of the match should be very exciting. Bryce, the German ref, is having an excellent match.
And Morata equalizes.
He has caught a great deal of grief from the Dpanish supporters but after his quarter-final goal, and this goal, the criticism should be over.
Italy’s on the ropes.
Going to PKs. Spain won their ¼ final on PKs, but they had plenty of problems with them. If they take them as poorly as the last match, the Italians should win; but this is a different day.
They should go to a “Golden Goal”, either after 90 minutes, or after extra time. Deciding on PKs is unfair to the players, teams, and the sport.
FORZA AZZURRI!
I think what they should do is after the 120 minutes, play another 30 minutes with the Golden Goal, and allow unlimited substitutions.
Don’t know about unlimited subs in extra time. I think teams at EURO 2020 get either5 or 6 subs.
I think they should get 2 more during extra time and maybe another one if it goes to a golden goal.
I remember WAY, WAY back in the day when there were no subs allowed. I know that was the rule during the 1966 World Cup.
The game had become so athletic, physical, and fast, quality suffered significantly in those days.
The solution be something other than PKs to determine the result of a match.
I would not be opposed to allowing starters to return to a match if it goes to a golden goal.
I hope they don’t make the extra subs permenant, as it stands it already puts a bit of an asterisk on the tournament.
Thanks for the link,
Congratulations Italy!
I think England have a good chance of winning the Final but as always with them can they handle it psychologically or will they freeze?
I like PK shoot-outs. The minutes before England - Italy penalty shoot-out in the Final would be incredibly tense. Watching that would be one of the best events of the year, IMO.
Tonight England - Denmark!
I like England.
