We should use totalitarian instead of progressive, as that is what they are. They don't just want to rule, they want to control every aspect of our lives.
The federal government directly taxing the citizens of the states is like the EU taxing the people of France directly.
It is wrong on so many levels. If they had their way they would treat us kinda like they treat the states: Just give us all your money and we’ll give each of you a stipend to live on. You can all live in converted shipping containers and we’ll make nice common areas and parks so you won’t need a big yard or a garage, a garden or TV room.
And it will all be “free”.
Typical. Politicians promising to fix the problem caused by their prior fix.
Many decades ago politicians railed against big paychecks for CEOs. So they raised rates at the higher end. Companies all shifted to instead compensate their CEOs with shares of stock. Now, when a company, in spite of the best efforts of the government to cripple it, actually succeeds, like Amazon; now Congress whines the CEOs make too much money.
In fact, the only reason companies such as Amazon were so successful is because their enterprise model was too new for the government to have yet come up with all the rules and regulations to help cripple it, and of course provide “incentives” for those businesses to fork over large political contributions as a form of protection money.
So some employee of the irs used her work access to tax information to retrieve this information and leaked it. She will never be prosecuted. The person who leaked Trump’s info was never caught.
I’m still WAITING for my tax refund from the IRS. Almost two months now since we filed electronically. Anyone else still waiting?
